|I have some time today, because I haven't decided what I'm going to do with myself yet.

So I figured I'd post some soccer things.
To be honest, I probably spend at least two or three percent of every single day, even when I'm working and have no free time, actively wishing that Bastian Schweinsteiger or Sergio Ramos would caress me tenderly. Or even just that Sergio would be my neighbor and BFF and wingman and we'd go clubbing and he'd let me borrow his clothes.
In both of these fantasies, I have long hair again. So what does that tell you?
Anyway, this came to my attention recently.
1. Sergio, your rhythm and your shirt. Please be my neighbor and BFF and let's go clubbing and I will help you take off your clothes while you caress me tenderly.
2. Thomas Mueller, I am utterly convinced that for you, God or your parents or whatever took the essence of sunshine and daisies and cute baby animals and made you out of that.
(In case you needed a refresher.)
3. Philipp Lahm. Sometimes but not always I am very fond of you on a personal level. Those times always make me very pleased and only a bit surprised.
BUT. BUT BUT BUT. Even with all that, for some reason utterly unknown to me, a mere glimpse of Pepe Reina smiling is possibly my favorite sight in the world. I have no idea why. I've never seen him play; I have no particular attachment to Liverpool; I don't seek him out, ever. AND YET he always causes me great joy. So thank you, Pepe Reina, for your presence on this earth.
Okay, next thing:
I think I'm going to make a proper effort to watch the Women's World Cup this summer. Because the German NT, I am buying what they're selling. But in this case, with no team or player ties, I think I'm going straight up patriotic in my support this time. AMERICA, FUCK YEAH, and all that. I MISS YOU, BABY, DON'T FORGET ME, I'M COMING HOME SOON! #tessahomein2012
Either I'm flying straight home next April, or I might go bum around Europe for a bit, maybe work as an au pair until grad school starts. But those are two whole other conversations.
And finally, Neuer is officially moving to Bayern.
I don't know, I love love love guys that are total homeboys and only ever play for one club (Basti, Iker, I even feel a significant amount of affection for Steven Gerrard). And honestly I don't know why he'd move to Bayern NOW. Sure, Schalke didn't do well in the table, but CL Semi-final, Pokal, fucking having Raul? BUT if he knew he'd want to leave soon and that next year would be a free transfer, I can see it making sense to get as much money for Schalke as possible. Personally, I'm glad he stayed in the Bundesliga AND THAT HE CAME TO BAYERN WHAT WHAT, but objectively if he wanted to develop as a player, I think it would have made more sense to go abroad. BUT he's still very young, don't forget, so there's time for that later.
Regardless, I'm more upset by the negative fan reactions, both from Schalke and Bayern. If it helps, ILU BB, AND I'LL SUPPORT YOU ALWAYS.
Rene Adler. I miss you.
Right. I think that's all. NEW GAME OF THRONES IN TWO DAYS THANK GOD!
